On my cross country trip right adter watching the sunrise at Grand Canyon I researched breakfast near by and Ranch House Cafe was one of very few results. The little restaurant is super nicely styled, the service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Highly recommend if youre driving by Ash Fork, AZ. It is worth it. And yes order something with the pork green chillies.

This little cozy place has a sweet decor with great comfortable captains chairs and a few booths for seating. We had a Western Burger and Fries and a 2 egg breakfast with "those potatoes" with peppers and onions and served with Bacon. We loved the place for a small place it offers great food options.

Our server was the best part of our visit. She was kind and attentive. The tables were very sticky. I didn't think they were dirty but may have had a table covering that left a sticky residue. The food was ok. Fries were not very flavorful but the server brought ample ranch dressing to dip. The fried mozzarella was actually crispy and good but no marinara.

I enjoyed this beautiful piece of historical history with the waitress, she was so excellent with providing the status of restoring the old buildings and attractions. Surprisingly, a small population there and it’s interesting to know that there is friendly people to talk with and joke with too.
